Pay Rate/Range: $18/hr or more DOE
Description: A local aerospace company is looking to add a highly detail-oriented Machinist to their team! The Machinist will set up and operate single automatic and hand routing machines to cut net trim and/or island in acrylic windows. Additionally, they will operate multiple single-spindle or multi-spindle drilling machines to drill holes in acrylic aircraft windows.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferred
2-3 years of related work experience required
Experience using traditional trimming and routing machines such as router, band saw, etc and using CNC/3-Axis machines
Must have high attention to detail, as many of the parts will require a meticulous approach
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm with overtime as needed
