Pay Rate/Range: $17/hr
Description: A local aerospace facility is looking for Polishing Associates to join their team. This position is responsible for polishing and finishing acrylic parts by removing scratches, pits, and other imperfections. Duties include inspecting parts, sanding and buffing using hand tools and orbital sanders, completing work orders, and maintaining quality standards.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous sanding, polishing, orbital sanding, auto body, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
