The Tax Specialist will be responsible for preparing and supporting a range of tax engagements while assisting with planning initiatives and maintaining compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Assist with tax planning strategies for business and individual clients
• Conduct tax research and analyze technical issues
• Reconcile financial data and ensure accurate reporting
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and clarify tax matters
• Assist with IRS and state correspondence and notice resolution
• Support senior team members with complex tax engagements
• Maintain compliance with filing deadlines and firm quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of public accounting or tax preparation experience
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns
• Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• CPA license or active progress toward licensure preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
