Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance & Planning: Prepare, review, and manage individual and business tax engagements; provide proactive tax planning and research
- Client Advisory & Accounting: Oversee outsourced accounting and general ledger functions for small business clients
- Team Collaboration: Partner with, mentor, and provide technical support to accounting and bookkeeping staff
- Client & Firm Leadership: Manage established client relationships and contribute to the firm's strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax and client services
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Experience working with small business clients
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
