What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineering Manager position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to find a full-time Quality Manager for their facility located in the Cookeville, TN area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the quality department, overseeing quality engineers and technical staff
- Provide hands-on technical quality and engineering support on-site and to regional facilities
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics and process improvements
- Drive scrap reduction, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives
- Maintain strong customer relationships and follow up on quality concerns
- Develop and manage the departmental budget with P&L accountability
- Oversee internal audits and ensure compliance with IATF standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- 3 years of experience in quality management
- 6 years of Quality Engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge of root cause analysis, GD&T, and quality tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as this client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
