What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Payroll Specialist position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client located just outside of Murfreesboro to recruit and hire a Full-Time HR/Payroll Specialist.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time
- Prepare payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, year-end)
- Maintain payroll data, including wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits
- Handle garnishments, reimbursements, and benefit deductions
- Support audits and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Monitor timekeeping records and PTO balances for accuracy
- Work closely with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate, timely payroll and compliance.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Support other departments and areas as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll systems and excel
- Experience with audits and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)
- Manufacturing industry background preferred
