What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full-time Manufacturing Engineer in the Cookeville, TN area.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Improve manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and Lean initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, time studies, and line balancing.
- Improve throughput, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Specify, source, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Support new product launches and production ramp-ups.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related
- 2 years of Manufacturing, Process, Industrial or similar Engineering experience
- Strong process improvement and data analysis skills
- Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Client is not able to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa now or in the future.
