Early Career Electrical Design Engineers

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent practical work experience.
• Experience: 1 years of electrical engineering experience (relevant engineering internships, co-op programs, or substantial personal/academic projects are applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Component Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical components and systems (e.g., batteries, starters, alternators, relays, solenoids, sensors, lighting, controllers, connectors).
• Engineering Analysis & Testing: Hands-on experience conducting engineering design, system analysis, or laboratory testing.
• Harness Design: Familiarity with electrical circuit schematics, wire harness routing, and interconnects.
• Vendor Management: Experience collaborating with suppliers on component selection, application engineering, or specification alignment.
• System & Component Integration: Assist in the selection, application, and integration of electrical components including sensors, controllers, power distribution elements, and wire harness assemblies.
• Testing & Verification: Support environmental, functional, and durability testing of electrical components and systems; analyze test data to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design or operational issues.
