Universal Banker

Location: This role requires onsite presence as specified in the job posting.

Weekly Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM.

SUMMARY: Provide accurate and timely customer service by processing financial transactions and opening accounts in a retail banking setting. Introduce bank products and services through outreach, offering tailored recommendations to deepen client relationships. Perform outbound sales calls to meet or exceed sales and referral goals, supporting banking center management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver quality sales and service support, including teller transactions (deposits, currency handling, check cashing) and platform support (opening accounts, deposit services).
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations, recommending appropriate products and cross-selling to generate new business.
• Open and process demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, CDs, and money markets.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, participating in promotional campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications and coordinate with relevant staff for processing.
• Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly, delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Enhance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulations, internal controls, and ethical standards.
• Support daily operations, including audit controls and training new associates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of Teller experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with skills in customer service, sales, and operational support.
• Employment contingent upon background and credit checks, compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, and related regulations.
