Job Summary:

Teya Support Services, LLC is hiring for an experienced Quality Control Manager on a Federal Housekeeping contract at MacDill AFB. This position oversees and inspects the cleaning of Type II (SPD) areas to ensure that proper procedures are conducted to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Stays current with up-to-date procedures are current with federal, state, local, and Association for Health Care Environment requirements. Implements random sampling to produce inspection requirements for management consisting of Type III (Restrooms), Type IV (Clinical/Support Areas), Type V (Administrative), and Type VI (Common Areas).

 

Job Duties, Critical Functions:

·         Responsible for the overall management of the Quality Control Program.

·         Monitors and participates in the 2nd shift daily operations and inspections.

·         Conducts training for management and staff on proper healthcare housekeeping procedures.

·         Knowledgeable of and comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, and all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), health, and safety regulations.

·         Inspect work in progress and any finished work for discrepancies in accordance with the QC, and contract requirements.

·         Government contract review to ensure compliance.

·         Participate in weekly safety meetings to discuss Quality Control issues and concerns

·         Complete necessary inspection reports and documentation required to support findings.

·        Collect data, analyze for continuous improvement, and share with Environmental Services Executive.

·         Other tasks may be assigned to remain in compliance with government contract.

    ·         Must perform duties in a manner that assures dignity and safety of all patients, staff, and visitors at all times.
