Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management of daily Emergency Room operations
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance across the ER team
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership to optimize patient outcomes
- Oversee budgets, staffing, and scheduling to maintain productivity and quality goals
- Support staff development through orientation, training, and continuing education
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote patient-centered care
Required:
- Current RN license (Missouri or Compact)
- Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Emergency Department experience as a Charge RN
- Strong leadership and critical decision-making skills
- BLS within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- ENPC within 1 year of hire
- TNCC within 1 year of hire
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing
- Prior manager or supervisor experience in a high-volume ER
- Salary: $53.12 – $61.99/hr (DOE)
- $25,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year commitment
