Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and accountability for the daily operations of the Operating Room
- Oversee approximately 40 FTEs in perioperative services
- Ensure safe and effective patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical outcomes
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation responsibly
- Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and patient experience
- Mentor, develop, and engage perioperative staff while fostering a culture of teamwork
Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent acute care OR management experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active RN license (Kansas or Compact state)
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ability to obtain and maintain within required timeframe)
- BSN degree (Master’s degree a plus)
- Specialty certification (e.g., CPAN or CNOR)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Salary: $44.27 – $61.99/hour (commensurate with experience)
