Nurse Manager – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Pay Range: $45.68 – $68.51 per hour (based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case)

Position Overview

We are hiring a Nurse Manager to lead a high-volume Emergency Room at a full-service acute care hospital in Fort Worth. This role oversees multiple emergency care sites, including two off-campus ER locations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and staffing in the Emergency Department

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

• Mentor, coach, and retain ER nursing staff

• Drive compliance, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement

• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams

• Promote a culture of accountability and clinical excellence

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent acute care ER leadership experience

• Recent ER clinical practice (within the last 3 years)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state

• Current certifications:

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS or ENPC (or obtained within 1 year of hire)

• National certification preferred (e.g., CEN, CCRN)
