About the Role
We are seeking experienced Freestanding Emergency Room (FSED) Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity emergency setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage diverse emergency cases. You will work in a fast-paced standalone ER, treating patients across all levels of emergency care.
Available Shifts
Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume FSED setting
Triage, assess, and stabilize patients across all acuity levels
Work collaboratively with physicians and emergency care teams
Prioritize care and respond rapidly to life-threatening situations
Educate patients and families on follow-up care and treatment plans
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standards
Qualifications
3 years of recent acute care ER RN experience (within the last year)
Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact eligibility
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Must obtain ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of hire
