Float Pool RN – Medical Surgical (839524)
Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Rotating Weekends
Hourly Pay: $43.00/hour (flat rate, regardless of experience)
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hour (Nights) | $3.00/hour (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Summary
We are hiring a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support various medical-surgical units within our acute care facility in Gainesville, FL. This position is ideal for experienced RNs who thrive in dynamic environments and can adapt to different workflows while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care across multiple med-surg units
Assess patient needs and implement individualized nursing care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and protocols
Uphold hospital safety, quality, and compliance guidelines
Act as a patient and family advocate
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care med-surg RN experience required
Must be flexible and comfortable floating to multiple units
Active RN license in Florida or eligible multistate compact license
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required
Candidates with 3 years of RN experience and a compact license must apply for a Florida RN license
Additional Requirements
Must reside within a 60-minute commute of the Gainesville facility
Comfortable working with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Must complete an in-person interview, including shadowing and a facility tour
