What are the responsibilities and job description for the THR VP Supply Chain Ops position at Texas Health?
The Vice President, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for overseeing the overall Entity operations and financial management of the Supply Chain Operations for the entire organization. The Vice President, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for helping build capabilities consistent with both short- and long-term goals, and the development and execution of Supply Chain's transformation strategy (operational efficacy, holistic approach to expense management, total cost of care, clinical Supply Chain integration, business intelligence, service improvement).
Essential Functions:
· Develop and implement continuous Supply Chain improvements efforts across all operational areas of department (short term and long-term performance road map).
· Successfully integrates Supply Chain services – align departmental strategies in support of organizational priorities. Establishes integration through the development of executive alignment.
· Develop standardized department goals, objectives, performance standards and priorities that are appropriately tracked and executed on.
· Provide executive oversight to overall Supply Chain Operations and ensure professional and effective service is being delivered.
· Collaborate with Financial Leadership on Cost Containment and Variance explanations related to Supply Expense performance.
· Work with system, market and hospital leadership to develop plans and execution strategies to meet current and future needs.
