Attends and/or chairs the Nursing Oncology committees. Ensures standards reflect evidence-based practices utilized at Oncology institutions nationwide. Other duties as assigned. Manages the maintenance of the Master Data List of all chemotherapy certified nurses and Oncology Certified Nurses (OCN) in the system. Mentors nurse educators and nurse managers with chemotherapy/biotherapy experience across the Central Division. Develops and implements additional courses to meet nursing education needs. Coordinates Oncology Nursing Education events Manages the development and deployment of Oncology Practice Standards through the Oncology Collaborative Practice committee. Interprets and establishes practice standards, policies, procedures, standards of care, protocols, and critical pathways. Monitors practice standards and evaluates their impact on patient care. Acts as a change agent, evaluates the environment for change readiness, and develops and implements plans for change. Utilizes current research and evidence-based practices to recommend changes in practice. Incorporates research findings into policies, procedures, and standards of care.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to complete clinical inquiry to improve clinical practice and service outcomes. - Master's in health-related field [Required]
- Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:
- 5 years oncology experience [Required]
- Teaching experience in formal/informal settings with knowledge of learning principles for population served. [Preferred]

Pay Range:
