Shift: Sunday - Tuesday
Days
Manages the flow of incomplete medical records to ensure timely completion according to medical staff rules and regulations. Assigns deficiencies to medical records and monitors their completion, including communication with physicians regarding delinquencies and suspensions. Prepares and distributes physician suspension letters per the timeline outlined in medical staff rules and regulations. Monitors physician suspensions and reinstates privileges once deficiencies are completed. Monitors the HIM message center for refused verbal orders and completes late order addendum processes as well as chart retirements. Prepares charts for scanning, conducts quality control, and completes validation of scanned documents. Obtains accurate birth information from parents after the birth of a child and communicates effectively to complete all required forms. Submits birth information to the state department of vital statistics and the attorney general, ensuring compliance with certification requirements. Selects, implements, uses, and manages technology solutions for health information management, including system and data architecture, interface considerations, and information management planning. Utilizes business health intelligence, analytics, and decision support to perform data visualization, trend analysis, and administrative reporting. Applies descriptive, inferential, and advanced statistical protocols and analysis for research and patient-centered health information technologies. Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, applying confidentiality, privacy, and security measures to protect electronic health information. Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:
