The Program Manager, under direction, plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities, developing and implementing procedures for the administration of OPAS.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
Operational and Logistical Support
- Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities, developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the program.
- Assist with the establishment of short & long-term goals.
- Develops master program calendars to coordinate recruitment plans, application and interview dates, training dates, etc.
- Oversees pre-departure student development efforts, such as providing interview feedback and assisting with application materials.
- Organize, implement, attend, and facilitate intern interviews, trainings, and socials.
- Oversee maintenance of accurate student participation records.
- Serve as liaison regarding intern logistics, including academics, Office of Scholarship and Financial Aide and other components related to students’ selection and/or participation in the programs.
- Supervises program coordinator I. Supervises part-time student workers.
- Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes.
- Prepares vouchers, purchase orders and requisition and coordinate with accounting personnel and other support staff.
- Coordinates orders and maintenance of office inventory, food for events, processing receipts, and tracking expenses.
- Responsible developing and maintaining relationships with our donors, sponsors, advertisers, and special events.
- Effectively develops and maintains working relationships with Donors and acts as the main Liaison of OPAS & Our Media Partners.
- Prepares reports and analyses for programs as requested by the director.
