Key Responsibilities & Major Duties
- Engage Donors: Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with high-potential donors using phone, email, mail, personalized videos, and other communication tools.
- Stewardship Delivery: Provide personalized content aligned with donor giving history and intent, including updates on specific units, impact stories, and beneficiary highlights.
- Trust Building: Foster long-term trust and connection between donors, Texas A&M, and the Foundation through consistent and genuine interaction.
- Event Integration: Leverage school- or unit-hosted events, tours, and experiences to offer personalized invitations and deepen donor engagement.
- Donor Elevation: Identify and position donors for potential elevation or referral to development officers based on engagement and giving potential.
- CRM Management: Enter contact reports and maintain accurate donor records in CRM systems according to policy and expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with peers and colleagues using enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Asana, Salesforce, Chatter).
- Creative Stewardship: Build flexible and adaptive practices to accomplish Foundation goals and pursue the vision of donor-centered service.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, account management, hospitality, or high-touch client engagement.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term external relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Commitment to donor-centered service and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Experience in higher education or nonprofit fundraising.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar donor CRM platforms.
- Comfort using video and digital communication tools.
- Background in managing donor reporting, stewardship plans, or customer success workflows
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume outreach efficiently using CRM systems, communication automation tools, and scalable personalization strategies
- Demonstrate the attributes and behaviors of a Passionate Professional Dedicated to Purposeful Philanthropy

- Contribute to team effectiveness through knowledge-sharing and proactively identifying process improvements
