Brief Description

What you’ll do…

As Chief Development Officer for the Bush School of Government and Public Service, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the school’s mission to develop principled leaders and public servants dedicated to public service. You will lead the philanthropic strategy for the Bush School, working closely with academic leadership, faculty, and the Texas A&M Foundation to secure transformational support for students, faculty, research, and global initiatives.

In this role, you will drive efforts to achieve ambitious fundraising goals while cultivating and stewarding meaningful, long-term relationships with donors who are passionate about public service, international affairs, and leadership development. Requirements

What we require…

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate complex situations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High motivation, proactive approach, and strong work-ethic.
• Commitment to the mission and vision of Texas A&M Foundation
  
  

We’d love to find someone with…

• Master’s degree
• 8 years of experience in fundraising or a related field
• Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), or other comparable certification
• Experience in non-profit organization or higher education sectors
• Knowledge of donor database management systems, preferably Salesforce
