Key Responsibilities
- Draft and analyze reinsurance treaties, amendments, and treaty-related documents to ensure alignment with corporate, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Work with both assumed and retrocession (retro) treaties.
- Maintain the Treaty Provision Database, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates based on new treaties and amendments.
- Oversee content and organization of the Treaty SharePoint site, I/M drive, and Q drive folders to provide users with the most current treaty information.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute regular treaty management reports to internal stakeholders; run ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Respond to external audit requests regarding treaty confirmations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support departmental and cross-functional projects by contributing data and assisting in resource allocation and tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the insurance industry is required; reinsurance experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to draft and review legal contracts is essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
- A naturally curious mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve processes.
