You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Law, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of experience negotiating complex contracts, with a strong background in IT and/or Operations contracts.
- Proven ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Organized, strategic, and capable of managing multiple complex negotiations at once.
We are seeking a Complex/Lead Contract Negotiator to lead strategic and cross-functional contract negotiations. This senior-level role is accountable for setting negotiation strategies, mitigating risk, and securing best-in-class contract terms.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead end-to-end negotiation strategy for complex and/or high-value vendor contracts.
- Negotiate contracts covering pricing, terms and conditions, risk mitigation, and service-level guarantees.
- Advise internal leaders on negotiation strategies and resolution of contract escalations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Technology, Finance, and Operations to evaluate deviations from standard terms.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve contract language, compliance, and vendor performance.
- Establish strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and vendors to drive alignment and partnership.
