Orlando-Based Construction AR Specialist Needed
Accounts Receivable Specialist (Construction Billing Focus)
Orlando, FL | Fully Onsite | $55–60K | M–F, 8 AM–5 PM
What You’ll Do
- Manage construction billing processes, including progress billing and contract-based invoicing
- Review job cost reports to ensure billing aligns with project scope, timelines, and contracts
- Track and manage AR aging, with a focus on construction clients and timelines
- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies
- Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Support collections efforts while maintaining strong client relationships
- Maintain documentation for lien waivers, contracts, and project billing records
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and process improvements
- 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or billing experience in construction or a project-based environment
- Experience with job costing, AIA billing, or progress billing strongly preferred
- Familiarity with construction documentation (contracts, change orders, lien waivers) is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/accounts
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and project teams
