π οΈ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
β Lead and manage the siteβs Quality organization, including Quality Assurance and Metallurgical functions.
β Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
β Ensure compliance with key industry standards and customer requirements including:
- π© Nadcap (HT, MTL, UT)
- βοΈ AS9100, AS9120
- π§ͺ ISO 17025
- π ASTM
- π European Directives
β Act as the primary point of contact for customer, supplier, and third-party auditor interactions related to quality systems and product issues.
β Design and implement systems, metrics, and processes to detect, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.
β Champion Process Management by:
- π Risk assessment & mitigation
- π Measuring Critical Process Variables (CPVs)
- π§Ύ Control plan development
- β Process validation
- π Applying statistical methods
β Manage budgets (fixed and variable costs) aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
β Continuously build knowledge of quality and operational systems to support and enhance the QMS.
β Provide coaching, performance feedback, and quality awareness across the organization.
β Take on additional projects and duties as needed. π―
π REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
π Bachelorβs degree (preferred in Materials, Engineering, Quality Sciences, or similar fields)
π§ Minimum 7 years of experience with Quality Management Systems
π Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and quality standards
π Experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis
ποΈ Strong planning and organizational skills
π§βπ« Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members across functions
π Skilled in communication and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external partners
π Ability to use data and structure to drive quality improvements
β±οΈ Deadline-driven with excellent prioritization skills
π Willingness to travel as needed
π Maintain necessary quality accreditations and customer approvals
