Job Title: Survey Manager – (PLS) Land Surveying & Remote Sensing
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Leadership Opportunity)
We are partnering with a fast-growing Land Surveying & Remote Sensing firm in the Western US to hire a Survey Manager to lead field & office survey operations for their Phoenix team.
This is a strategic leadership role — ideal for someone who is passionate about people leadership, project excellence, and modern survey technology (LiDAR, UAS/UAV mapping, Civil 3D workflows, Trimble, Leica, etc.).
🎯 What You’ll Lead
- Manage and mentor a team of surveyors and technicians
- Oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking & ROW projects
- Coordinate directly with engineers, architects, and development teams
- Review deliverables, QA/QC, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead project scheduling, budgeting & client communication
- Contribute to proposals, project scopes & client-facing coordination
✅ Ideal Profile
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) – Arizona or eligible by reciprocity
- 7 years in land surveying | 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Hands-on with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Trimble, Leica, LiDAR & Remote Sensing workflows
- Strong communicator with a passion for mentoring teams and building client relationships
- Able to lead both field execution & office coordination with a focus on quality and responsiveness
