We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales, distribution, and merchandising activities within an assigned territory. The primary goal of this position is to increase sales by developing strong relationships with buyers, retailers, distributors, and store personnel while maximizing product placement and promotional opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales by securing new item distribution on every customer call.
- Obtain orders for new products and ensure adequate shelf space and proper product placement.
- Sell and execute upcoming promotions to maximize sales volume.
- Secure orders and appropriate floor/display space for promotional products.
- Review sales plans with current and prospective buyers.
- Communicate product information, pricing, quantities, and other details clearly with clients, distributors, retailers, and buyers.
- Ensure products are properly placed, stocked, shelved, and displayed across assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate pricing signs and promotional materials.
- Use computer systems to record and process markdown and credit information.
- Monitor product distribution using web-based reporting tools.
- Work closely with store personnel to ensure shelves and displays meet established standards.
