Job Title : BIM Technician | Revit & Stratus Technician
Location: Hammond, IN (On-site)
Professional Summary:
Seeking an experienced Revit & Stratus Technician with 5 years of piping experience and strong knowledge of Revit, CAD, 3D modeling, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in prefabrication, BIM coordination, and developing accurate models and fabrication drawings for field installation.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years of piping/mechanical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, CAD, and 3D modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Stratus and fabrication/detailing workflows.
- Experience working in a prefabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, equipment, and supports.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, piping, and construction drawings.
- Understanding of how 3D models translate into fabrication and field installation.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in piping, BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and CAD.
- Practical experience with Stratus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineers, project managers, detailers, and field teams.
- Ability to meet project schedules and maintain quality standards.
Salary : $80,000 - $140,000
