Legal Secretary

Seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a strong litigation background to provide support to multiple attorneys in a fast-paced municipal law practice. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys.
Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
Manage court filings through state and federal e-filing systems.
Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case files.
Coordinate scheduling of hearings, depositions, and meetings.
Assist with preparation of pleadings, motions, briefs, and appellate filings.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client and court interactions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of litigation legal secretary experience.
Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously.
Knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing requirements.
Experience with insurance defense litigation.
Experience with employment law matters and EEOC administrative proceedings.
Experience with appellate filings and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic document management.
Strong organizational, communication, and proofreading skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CoreRelate and Sage Timeslips.
LEIN/CJIS experience.
Municipal law experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Two professional references.
