Personal Injury Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join a growing law firm and manage assigned personal injury matters. The attorney will work closely with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and internal legal staff to manage cases, negotiate claims, and help achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Personal injury experience is preferred but not required. Attorneys with limited experience who have a strong interest in personal injury law are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned personal injury cases.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates throughout the case.
• Monitor clients' medical treatment and case progress.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and medical providers.
• Review case information and documentation to determine appropriate case strategies.
• Provide case approvals and second-tier client support.
• Handle complex cases proactively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
• Deliver a positive and professional client experience.
• Continuously develop legal knowledge and case-management skills.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Bar License – Required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and case-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to handling legal matters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Legal experience preferred.
• Personal injury law experience is a plus.
• Experience negotiating with insurance companies or medical providers.
• Law firm experience.
• Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
