About the Opportunity

A well-established law firm in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney – Litigation to join its litigation practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1–3 years of legal experience who is looking to develop a diverse litigation practice and gain hands-on experience across a variety of legal matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, excellent communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in litigation.

• Insolvency Matters

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Assist with case strategy, preparation, and management
• Participate in discovery and other stages of the litigation process
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other legal professionals
• Assist senior attorneys with complex litigation matters
• Manage assigned cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff as part of a team

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of legal experience
• Active Rhode Island Bar admission required
• Massachusetts Bar admission preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and case-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
