Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of civil and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong legal drafting, case management, discovery, and trial preparation skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage case calendars, court deadlines, and docket control.
· Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and correspondence.
· Handle state and federal court e-filing.
· Coordinate document collection, review, production, and e-discovery.
· Prepare deposition materials, hearing exhibits, trial binders, and exhibit lists.
· Conduct factual research and public records searches.
· Maintain organized case files and coordinate with clients, court reporters, experts, and opposing counsel.
Required Qualifications
· 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in civil or commercial litigation.
· Knowledge of Texas and federal civil procedure.
· Experience with eFile Texas, PACER/CM-ECF, and court filing procedures.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and deadline management skills.
· Associate's or bachelor's degree, or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
· Trial preparation experience.
· Familiarity with Clio or other case management systems.
· Experience working directly with attorneys in a small law firm.
