Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Bennington, VT
Schedule: 4×10 (Mon–Thu)
Pay: $19–$25/hr
Job Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support receiving, material movement, and inventory accuracy throughout the facility. This role ensures timely flow of materials and accurate reporting within the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, unload deliveries, and verify quantities
- Document goods received and process transactions in the ERP system
- Communicate discrepancies or damages with vendors as needed
- Move materials to proper departments in advance of production needs
- Issue inventory to work orders and maintain accurate stock levels
- Perform daily cycle counts and monthly inventory counts
- Deliver received materials within 1 day of arrival
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory records
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Accounting, and Quality teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of inventory or receiving experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
