Controller

Position Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of the Accounting Department, operationally and reporting. Also, for creating and updating departmental budgets. Adhere to all company procedures, core values and policies. Requires a willingness to work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines, if necessary.

Must be able to communicate in the English Language.

Responsibilities:

· Planning, directing, and coordinating all AP/AR and Cost Accounting functions

· Cash Management

· Oversee, prepare and analysis of budgets

· Troubleshoot accounting issues as needed to determine root causes and resolutions

· Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

· Retain necessary documentation per financial and audit procedures

· Oversee journal postings for accurate financial statement preparations, internal and external

· Oversee internal and external financial statements preparation

· Plan and analyse monthly and annual financial statements

· Partner with auditors to complete annual financial audits after year-end closes

· Presentation of Accounting information to the Executive Council

· Oversight of inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of assets

· Organize and manage annual physical inventory activities and coordinate with auditors

· Oversee Payroll

· Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies

· Maintain insurance plans for company assets

· Provide advice during annual wage reviews within Accounting Department

· Planning, implementing, and evaluating accounting programs and practices

· Over-site of accounting training

· Develop and mentor accounting staff

· Work independently with minimal guidance using good time management, planning, organization, and

decision-making skills.

· Practice strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interface with individuals at all levels of the business—within the organization as well as outside.

· Work and meet with departmental managers to improve company policy, procedure, and daily communications

· Other duties as assigned by the CFO

· Develop and maintain full working knowledge of all Delek Costpoint areas, and how they affect accounting activities

· Maintain knowledge of US Government contract types and how they should be accounted for.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum of Ten years in accounting with manufacturing experience preferred

· Financial statement preparation and understanding

· Spreadsheet use and preparation

· Proficient in understanding and utilizing mathematics and formulas

· Government document preparation preferred

· Information collection and presentation

· Payroll process knowledge and/or experience

· Attention to detail with accuracy

· US Government contracting experience preferred

· Deltek Costpoint ERP Experience a plus
