Professional Summary:
Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a quality team and oversee AS9100/IA9100, FAA PMA, DoD compliance, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality team.
- Maintain and improve the AS9100/IA9100 QMS.
- Ensure compliance with FAA PMA, DoD, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal, customer, FAA, and government audits.
- Manage CAPA, root-cause analysis, MRB, NCRs, and supplier quality.
- Oversee inspections, documentation, traceability, and quality metrics.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
- 3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
- 3 years of AS9100/IA9100 experience.
- Quality management/team leadership experience.
- FAA PMA manufacturing/inspection experience.
- DoD/government contract experience.
- Knowledge of inspections, blueprints, tolerances, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- ERP and Microsoft Office experience.
Preferred
- Helicopter/rotorcraft or aircraft parts experience.
- DCMA/source inspection experience.
- Supplier quality and aerospace special-process experience.
- ASQ or relevant quality certification.
