We are seeking an experienced Machining Manager to lead and oversee our machining operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily machining operations and ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of machinists, fostering continuous improvement.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of machining equipment, including lathes, presses, and related tools.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of components.
- Apply best practices in materials handling and inventory management to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Utilize CAD software to support design modifications and process improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth production flow and resolve operational challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on machining experience.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, presses, and general machining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience with materials handling in a production or factory environment.
- Working knowledge of CAD software.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.
