About the job:
We are looking for an Architectural Client/Project Manager with at least five years of Retail construction experience. This is an in-office position, not remote.
Anticipated base wage would be between $60,000 and $80,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture. Registration is not required but is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural detailing, millwork detailing and construction documents
- Experience with Architectural design and drafting on light commercial projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Revit
- Intermediate knowledge of building codes
- Foundational knowledge of MEP systems
- Experience coordinating with Structural and MEP consultants
Primary Responsibility: Conduit for day-to-day communication between Client and Team.
Reports to Studio Vice President or Senior Client Manager (as applicable).
A Client Manager serves as the primary client contact and is responsible for meeting the client’s needs and for the overall performance of the project team for all phases of a project. A Client Manager exhibits proficiency relative to organization of the project team and of the project process.
Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage multiple Project Managers and teams
- Direction and coordination of team work
- Complete and up to date knowledge of current Client Standards, and enforcement of such on projects
- Quality control of projects as pertaining to current Client standards
- CAD / Revit drafting, or other project work as dictated by the needs of the project
- Expert knowledge of constructability and code compliance
- Primary consultant interface
- Primary client interface
- Proposal preparation and negotiation
- Meeting overall project budgets and schedules
- Project fee negotiation and invoicing
- Conduct performance reviews for Project Managers and project team members
- A backstop for Project Managers
- Coordinate with the Accounting Department to complete client billing on a monthly basis
- Train, mentor and promote the professional development of Design Associates and Project Managers
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
