Project Manager / Project Leader
TLA is seeking an experienced architect to join our growing practice. We are looking for individuals who are thoughtful, technically capable, and eager to take initiative in both project leadership and professional growth.
This role is intended for architects with 7 or more years of professional experience who can manage projects independently and are ready to grow into leading more complex work, mentoring teams, and building long-term client relationships.
We are less interested in rigid titles and more interested in people with strong judgment, accountability, curiosity, initiative, and the drive to continuously improve.

Responsibilities
- Support and lead projects through multiple phases of design and construction
- Coordinate project efforts, including consultant coordination, documentation, and client communication
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Serve as a client contact and help maintain strong working relationships
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure clear communication and organized execution
- Participate proactively in strategic planning and problem-solving throughout project delivery
- Contribute to project proposals, fee development, and scope definition
- Take initiative in identifying project needs, coordination issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Support and mentor younger staff while continuing to grow personally and professionally
- Help maintain a thoughtful, collaborative, and design-focused studio culture
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 7 or more years of professional experience
- Licensure preferred but not required
- Experience contributing to or managing architectural projects across multiple phases
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Solid technical understanding and ability to coordinate project documentation
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Desire to grow into larger project leadership responsibilities
- Ability to balance design intent, technical execution, and client expectations
- Proficiency in Revit and standard architectural software platforms
