Job Summary
We are seeking a Stainless Steel Manufacturing Supervisor – 1st Shift to lead daily operations within the fabrication department. This hands-on role focuses on driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to meet safety and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules, backlog, and job/work orders
- Monitor materials, inventory levels, and equipment performance
- Lead production meetings and ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Track performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Train, coach, and mentor team members while supporting development and staffing
- Enforce safety standards and ensure proper equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes
Qualifications
- 5 years of supervisory experience in metal fabrication
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
