What You’ll Do
- As a Production Manager, you’ll lead all shift operations across multiple production lines, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team performance.
- Lead and develop a team (direct indirect reports ~40 employees)
- Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all standards
- Champion quality systems and support audits (SQF, FDA, USDA, etc.)
- Oversee production schedules, line performance, and daily operations
- Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and implement improvements
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgets, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Partner with Plant Leadership to execute operational strategies
- Support training, coaching, and employee development
- Ensure smooth communication across shifts and functions
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing / operations / production leadership
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing supervisors and teams
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or high-speed production preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, RCA, Continuous Improvement
- Familiarity with quality audits (SQF, FDA, USDA, HACCP)
- Experience with SPC, process controls, and production metrics
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
