Overview
This is a hands-on role focused on keeping fleet equipment operational and minimizing downtime. The position requires practical mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on semi-trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
- Work on systems such as brakes, suspension, air systems, and wiring
- Complete repairs on trailer components including panels, doors, and related structures
- Carry out welding and fabrication tasks when required
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with semi-trailers or heavy equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on, fast-paced setting
- Welding experience is preferred
