Position Overview:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of middle market commercial insurance accounts. This role requires a client-focused professional who can provide expert guidance, manage policy details, and build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding their insurance needs
- Review and analyze policies, coverages, and limits; provide recommendations
- Gather client information and prepare applications for new and renewal business
- Develop and present customized insurance proposals
- Manage day-to-day account servicing, including certificates, invoices, and policy documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Participate in client renewal meetings alongside producers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial insurance (middle market accounts preferred)
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages and insurance markets
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
