Job description
A growing law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation practice. The attorney will work on matters involving construction, real estate, insurance, contracts, business disputes, personal injury, wrongful death, consumer protection, and family law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and court documents
- Manage discovery and assist with hearings, mediations, trials, and appeals
- Participate in client consultations and case strategy
- Develop litigation and courtroom advocacy skills
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina Bar license and good standing
- Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
- Moot court, trial advocacy, debate, or public-speaking experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interest in developing a career in civil litigation
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
