Job Description

· IT infrastructure experience with 3 years of hands-on VDI administration in Windows environments.

· Strong experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi, VMware Horizon, vCenter, Cloud Volumes, vGPU, vMotion, DRS, HA, and vROps.

· Design, deploy, configure, and administer Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.

· Create, maintain, and manage VDI Master Images for enterprise desktop environments.

· Provision and manage virtual desktops using VMware Horizon and Amazon WorkSpaces.

· Perform VMware infrastructure installation, configuration, migration, upgrades, and patch management.

· Configure and manage VMware clusters, resource pools, distributed switches, storage, and networking.

· Perform server virtualization, ESXi host administration, VM provisioning, cloning, and template management.

· Manage software installation, upgrades, and maintenance on virtual desktops and virtual machines.

· Deploy and support enterprise applications on VDI environments, including Java, Anaconda, Visual Studio, .NET Tools, kubectl, containerd, and project-specific software.

· Perform VDI rollout activities following enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.

· Monitor VMware infrastructure health, availability, performance, and capacity.

· Troubleshoot VMware ESXi, Horizon, vCenter, virtual machine, and VDI-related issues.

· Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents within SLA.

· Work on VMware infrastructure optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

· Configure and manage Group Policies (GPO) for Windows VDI environments.
