Overview
Our client is seeking a temporary Part-Time HR Generalist to support the final stages of a site shutdown. This role will focus primarily on employee documentation, compliance, and employee support activities to ensure all HR records and processes are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit employee files and HR documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Collect and process employee resignations and related documentation.
- Ensure all required records are properly documented, organized, and uploaded into HR systems.
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, final pay, and HR-related matters.
- Provide general HR support and guidance to employees during the closure process.
- Assist with maintaining compliance and ensuring all separation documentation is properly completed.
- Partner with internal HR and leadership teams to facilitate a smooth site closure.
Qualifications
- Previous HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience required.
- Experience with employee relations, documentation management, and HR compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and employee support skills.
- Experience supporting workforce reductions, site closures, or employee separations is highly preferred.
Additional Information
- This is not a full-cycle HR role.
- No recruiting, onboarding, or new hire administration responsibilities.
- Focus is heavily centered on documentation, audits, employee separations, payroll-related inquiries, and employee support during the site shutdown process.
