As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience as a stockroom attendant or material handler in a production manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High attention to detail
- Basic math and computer skills, especially in Excel
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good interpersonal skills
- Capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs
In this role, you will:
- Organize and store items in designated locations to maintain a neat and efficient warehouse
- Record keeping of received items, including quantities and locations
- Track and monitor inventory levels and movements for accuracy
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to resolve discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment (training/certification may be provided)
- Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate seamless operations
- Support shipping and receiving tasks as needed
