Our client is looking for a Solderer. They are a reputable manufacturer specializing in electronic products used in Aerospace and the High Tech Market, known for stability, a positive culture, and growth opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for soldering, assembling, and performing rework on various backplanes, using your soldering skills to meet strict quality standards. You’ll follow detailed documentation and process specifications, perform inspections, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure top-quality production.

They are in need of and experienced assembler who can perform soldering rework of Printed Circuit Boards.
In this role, you will:
- Use soldering irons to perform through-hole, SMT, and jumper wire soldering on backplanes of varying size and thickness
- Follow process control specifications and assembly documentation accurately
- Conduct in-process inspections and adhere to acceptance and rejection criteria
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts
- Comply with safety rules and company policies
- Cross-train in other departments as needed
- Potentially work overtime on alternate shifts and weekends
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and schematics
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience or training
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Motivated self-starter with a team-oriented attitude
- Experience with PCB assembly or soldering is a plus
- J-STD-001 Certification or IPC Specialist certification preferred
