SUMMARY: seeking an experienced Logistician, Lead to support the development of Engineering Change and Ship Change documentation.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop Configuration Management products, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), work file submissions, CDMD-OA queries, and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) certifications.
Perform comparison of configuration records across platforms.
Provide recommendations to ISEA based on analysis of technical data and documentation.
Develop logistics documentation supporting maintenance philosophy and acquisition strategy.
Apply knowledge of logistics management principles, policies, naval systems, and life cycle support requirements.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
DAWIA Lifecycle Logistics Level I certification (or equivalent logistics training/experience) preferred.
Professional Logistics Certification is a plus.
Six (6) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics supporting electronic systems.
One (1) year of experience supporting C4ISR systems.
Experience analyzing engineering/systems management data and developing logistics plans and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and other word processing tools.
Experience developing technical documentation with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate with engineers, testers, and technicians, and interpret technical drawings, military standards, and instructions.
Strong analytical skills to gather, summarize, and present data, and resolve administrative challenges.
