Operating out of the Maritime Operations Center (MOC), you will ensure the seamless execution of Joint and Coalition operations across the CTF-80 Area of Responsibility. You aren't just managing servers; you are maintaining the Maritime Global Common Operational Picture (G-COP)—the primary lens through which U.S. Northern Command defends the homeland.
Key Responsibilities
Operating out of the Maritime Operations Center (MOC), you will ensure the seamless execution of Joint and Coalition operations across the CTF-80 Area of Responsibility. You aren't just managing servers; you are maintaining the Maritime Global Common Operational Picture (G-COP)—the primary lens through which U.S. Northern Command defends the homeland.
Key Responsibilities
- Tactical Systems Engineering: Provide end-to-end systems operations and maintenance (O&M) for the full suite of MOC tactical systems.
- Coalition Interoperability: Manage mission-critical information systems required for high-stakes Joint and Coalition operations.
- Operational Readiness: Maintain the G-COP for all Naval forces, ensuring real-time situational awareness for Homeland Defense.
- Technical Governance: Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process guides to ensure standardized, repeatable mission success.
- Mission Support: Provide expert-level, 24/7 on-call technical support to resolve critical issues within the MOC environment.
- Education & Experience: * BA/BS 3 years of MOC-specific systems experience.
- AA/AS 6 years of MOC-specific systems experience.
- Equivalent Experience: 8 years of specialized MOC systems experience in lieu of a degree.
- System Mastery: In-depth technical proficiency with:
- GCCS-M/J, MSSIS, MCCIS, AIS/MASS, and Stone Ghost.
- DCGS-N, Radiant Mercury, J/ADOCS, TC2S, TSN, and SOS-T.
- Virtualization & OS: Extensive experience managing Linux Servers and virtualization platforms, specifically VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hypervisor.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: * Deep understanding of DISA STIG requirements and implementation.
- Expertise in Computer Network Defense (CND) compliance for complex tactical systems.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI (Required).
- Certification: Current CompTIA Security (Required).
- Availability: Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support operational surge requirements.
