Scope of Work
The Business Analyst will support the FANS modernization project and the maintenance of FNW applications. Responsibilities include serving as a liaison between business owners, the contract manager, and the development team; coordinating and facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions; translating information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and process flow models; discussing business processes with stakeholders; translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications; and assisting with process flow models and documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT business/industry work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience performing business analysis on IT projects.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in requirements gathering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, maintaining, and scaling custom automated testing frameworks from scratch, such as those using the Page Object Model.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, writing, and executing automation test scripts using Selenium or similar tools to verify system functionality and identify software bugs.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience generating automation scripts and updating existing scripts to align with ongoing UI changes and new feature deployments.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in REST API and microservices testing, including endpoint validation, contract checks, and payload verification using Insomnia or similar API tools.
- Proficiency in testing and validating REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or other API testing tools.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience translating functional specifications into technical specifications from which programmers can construct solutions.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience translating information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience collaborating with QA teams, coordinating UAT schedules, conducting UAT sessions, and guiding business testers through workflows.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with process model diagramming tools, such as Microsoft Visio.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing, including authoring test scenarios and executing manual checks against business requirements to validate system functionality.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing, including designing, writing, and executing automation test scripts to verify system functionality and identify software bugs.
